We recently had the privilege of orchestrating a truly captivating Murder Mystery-themed Bat Mitzvah at the historic Old Sessions House, London. Steeped in history and dating back to 1780, this Grade 2 listed building provided an exquisite backdrop for this immersive event.
The scale of this endeavour was no easy feat. We transformed multiple rooms within the venue, each meticulously designed to evoke the suspense of a classic murder mystery. From the individual murder rooms to the elegant dinner area, and the pulsating after-party space, every detail was executed to perfection.
Our dedicated team spearheaded full set production, crafting custom furniture and bespoke food station stands in-house. One of the standout features was the breathtaking CNC’d masquerade silhouette, illuminated with a projected mask, greeting guests at the peak of the grand entrance staircase.
Technological innovation played a pivotal role in elevating the experience of the main dinner room. Our state-of-the-art ROE Ruby 2.6 LED screen took centre stage, seamlessly displaying graphics that set the tone for the evening. Strategic integration of the LED screen into the DJ booth ensured optimal visibility of the entire screen. Footing this lay a large, glossy black dance floor with vinyl gold trim to highlight the grandeur of the event.
Immersive lighting further heightened the ambiance, enveloping each room in an aura of mystery and suspense. To ensure crystal-clear audio throughout the event, we installed comprehensive sound systems, delivering a premium auditory experience.
Navigating the challenges of working within a historic venue proved to be a testament to our expertise and dedication. Despite the intricacies involved, the event was an unequivocal success, seamlessly blending old-world charm with modern sophistication to create an unforgettable Murder Mystery.
